Modern high performance electrical machines require an efficient and compact transmission and driveline solution to meet often complex vehicle performance and packaging objectives. Ricardo has been designing and developing unique solutions for electric and hybrid vehicles for over twenty years. Our teams are creative and innovative and are able, for example, to merge DCT technologies into EV and Hybrid transmissions. Ricardo can support customer product development from concept engineering to production ready design while also providing high quality, low volume production volumes.

• CAE analysis – bearing, gear or casing design, analysis and optimization
